Nakkouch Ahmed

Mr. Ahmed Nakkouch was appointed chairman and CEO of Nareva holding, the energy and utility arm of ONA group in May 2006. He is responsible for the overall management of the Company, and leading the executive and operational teams in implementing the strategies approved by the Board.
Mr. Nakkouch held several senior management positions at ONE, the Moroccan utility, serving first as a CFO and COO of the company from 1995 to 2001, before being promoted as General Manager. During his tenure as a CEO of ONE from 2001 to 2006, Mr. Nakkouch helped grow the company by further expanding the existing activities of the firm.
Before his association with ONE, Mr. Nakkouch spent three years from 1991 to 1994 at Ciment Français, a major cement producer, as a plant director in the city of Agadir.
From 1979 to 1991, Mr. Nakkouch held various key positions with OCP, the world's leading phosphate exporter, His last position with OCP was a mining director of Khouribga open pit mine.
Ahmed Nakkouch holds a Masters’ degree in Civil engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de Saint Etienne.
