Mr. Castellano is the CEO of SACE, a diversified insurance group offering financial products and risk management solutions, including export credit and political risk insurance as well as surety, credit insurance and factoring. He joined SACE in 2004 as General Manager assuming overall responsibilities for SACE’s business development and transacting groups. In May 2007 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and in this role he contributed to the transformation of SACE into a joint stock company and developed the company’s new Business Model. He previously served as Managing Director and Member of the Management Committee of Mediocredito Centrale, Capitalia Group. Prior to that, he worked for Deutsche Morgan Grenfell & Co. Ltd in London, where he held several responsibilities within the Investment Banking Division with specific focus on Debt Capital Markets and Structured Finance.
