Fouad Makhzoumi is presently the Chairman of Future Pipe Group "FPI".
Mr. Makhzoumi acted as the President of the International Desalination Association (IDA) between 1995 and 1997, and is currently the Controller of the Association.
He acted as well as Vice Chairman of the Institute for Social and Economic Policy in the Middle East at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, between 1995 and 1998.
He is currently a member of the International Board of the “Council on Foreign Relations - US/Middle East Project”, since 1996.
Mr. Makhzoumi was born in Beirut, Lebanon. His preliminary and secondary education was received at the International College in Beirut. He received undergraduate (1974) and Master of Science degrees (1975) in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, in Michigan, United States of America. He is the founder of two foundations, devoted to charitable and humanitarian works: The Future Millennium Foundation, located in the United States and The Makhzoumi Foundation in Beirut, Lebanon.
